Any tips on how to deal with the Sporg enemy?

The mushrooms that shoot out homing explosives. I have no tools to be able to deal with the explosions from range, and they take 2 of my health things away each time. Sure, Ic an run from all fo them, but there has to be an easier way, right?

Running works just fine, since you don't HAVE to kill any of these enemies. The explosive spore is fairly slow with a wide turn radius, and you can kite it without issue. Note that the enemies themselves aren't immune to their own blast, so you can kill them by simply making the spore explode next to them.

Best advice I can give is to ignore them and use dash to out-pace the exploding spore. If you feel the need to kill them, use a spell or attack the mushroom directly while the spore is away (only one nail swipe at a time, to be safe).

Most Sporg can be beaten by luring the explosive spore to themself although it's quite tricky to pull it of.

But as these 2 guys^ mentioned, you can choose to ignore them. (may result in entering an area full of Sporgs, tho. It's just hillarious xD )

P.S. Sporgs take 5 hits to be killed using an unupgraded nail, IIRC
