[Spoiler] Steelmode question about... Jiji ?

In case to complete the 100% Steelmode I've purchase the Key to Sly and opened the door in the cimetary (far right on Dirtmouth).

What a surprise when Jiji wasn't here anymore and this guy show up! (I already knew that Rancid Egg is useless on Steelmode but hey! A new NPC!)

So here's the question, I've already donate him like... 4-5 Rancid egg and he keep telling me the same. Anyone has given him more and obtained something ?

I haven't dumped all of my eggs, but I don't think anything changes. This is just added because eggs would be worthless otherwise.

Mmmmh... yeah but has they did a new character why they just don't remove all the Bluggsac/rancid egg ?

In that case I'd like to know if maybe this new NPC can give us something like... Hallownest's seal, King's Idol or whatever. The proof that there's no achievements linked to this show us that it's not important, even if you obtain something at the end.

But I'd like to know if it's the case, or if he just go with the stuff like "Yeah, and now what ?"

It's not exactly a donation - as Jinn says, it's a trade. You get several hundred Geo each time you give it an egg. Eggs in Steel Soul are basically another Hallownest Seal each, so getting even more relics to sell from the NPC wouldn't make much sense.

I didn't pay attention of my Geo, I was thinking it was just a bad trade because he didn't throw anything like Grandpa Grub !
So you say that the Geo are directly put into your wallet ? I didn't look at it after each exchange, my bad so...
