NKG dashless?

Alright, when I got HK on the switch a good couple years back the NKG (Rad) fight was essentially my lifeblood till I beat it after months of trying, even now I am fully hardwired to parry that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ constantly. So I've just decided to relive my ultimate struggle with a dashless challenge, I've mostly had problems with the kick so any tricks for it yall could share would be appreciated, along with general tips ^^

if you mean the kick where he leaves a trail of fire you could try using descending dark, that grants iframes like shade cloak

Of course! Never really used dd with Nkg so I'll try it

For the "kick" attack, I think you can just double jump over it? You can also bounce on him as he goes under you (easier with Longnail/Mark of Pride), giving you even more air time.
