I can't remap controls?

I'm not sure what's going wrong. I don't like the arrow keys and would like to use WASD, but I can't change that in the settings? When I press the button, it doesn't register. Mouse clicks register, keyboard keys don't. I literally cannot play the game this way,please help!

I don't want you to configure - but it seems there is no way to remap the controls - if my memory serves me correctly. I can only sympathize and recommend playing with a joystick.
