Hiveblood will (given a bit of time) regenerate the last mask of damage you took. Grubsong will give you soul when you take damage, and deep focus will cause your heals to give back 2 masks instead of 1, making your heals twice as soul efficient (but a bit slower).
You're basically immortal as long as you are patient. Everytime you hit spikes and get sent back to a platform, let Hiveblood do its thing, and if you're still down by 2 masks after Hiveblood is done regenerating a mask, then heal to full with the soul you've gathered with Grubsong.
The other combo you can do is Grubsong, Grubberfly's Elegy (used for its combo effect of increasing the soul generated by Grubsong) and Deep Focus. With that setup, every time you take 2 masks of damage, you will have generated 50 soul from Grubsong/Grubberfly and because of Deep Focus you only spend 33 soul to regenerate your 2 masks. So together you gain soul from taking damage faster than you lose it healing the damage you took.
Soul catcher and/or soul eater are also decent options. You will do a decent amount of pogoing off of enemies (wingmoulds) and those charms will boost the soul you gain from that.
Really, as long as you can gain soul faster than you expend it on healing, you can eventually beat the white palace (and even the path of pain, should you choose to do it).
