Fair enough. I just didn't personally find "frustrating just to be frustrating" to be the best design rule.
thing's like slipping though the spikes your suppose to sword hop off of, or when you cling to wall at the last stretch you DON'T declip from the wall for half a frame that if you input a jump you eat your double jump and fall into spikes, this happened so much it was aggravating.
On the other hand PoP, that's way above my capabilities. That's frustrating for me. But then again, I can understand some people like it and it's totally optional, not even an achievement, so it's only for the pure love of suffering, and it's nice to have the option if you are into it.
I don't think the White Palace is comparable to fromsoft games.
