Come on. I had the exact same thing happen. Tried for three hours then botched it badly on the Kingsmolds. S*** happens. I dusted myself and did it again. Not only did I find I could skip the entire lever part (since it stays activated), I really only needed another 20min or so to complete it again. The concept of practice makes perfect is real. You got all the hard work out of the way and then quit right when you had it finally figured it out.

They didn't when I played. But if you equip Grubsong (Soul gained with damage), and Deep Focus (double heal) you will last a LONG time before running out of health. And, as mentioned, you could also use Hiveblood for slow health regen if you have it.
