The silksong wait.
It has been 5 years and I have lost a great amount of respect for this company.
HK has sold 6.4 million copies, they have plenty of money to hire people in order to make production go faster.

Yup.

I'm not saying that's not an option. But some games have different quality/details depending on the platform, so maybe they didn't downgraded it for PC, they just have different details for consoles. Otherwise, why would you buy a high end pc if a cheap old console is capping graphics for everyone?

Oh boy, yet another poor soul who is addicted to content updates and is lashing out because he's going through withdrawl. Just like a junkie who can't get his fix. Stop hating a game company because you have a problem.

>patience is a virtue. we have plenty of garbage AAA games being rushed out by huge teams of people with no love and no vision every year.

We also have plenty of GOOD games in this genre coming out. I don't get why anyone could be so bitter when there's so many good Metroid clones out every year. All of you people are on Steam. We have plenty to keep us busy while we wait for Silksong.

I think people continue to forget that Team Cherry are two guys and it took them over five years to make the first HK as well. Given what a massive game it is, I can understand it taking a while.

Yes that may definitely be the case. maybe it will still be the same on steam, but as far as Xbox/Playstation, it's way different, with a ton more background blur.

I'm still wondering why do people want everything fast with a poorly result, instead of waiting longer for a masterpiece.... -_-

Exactly. And also an horrible idea.

Hiring more people does NOT imply faster production, it just means there's more people that can work on said project

I reckon they've got a deal with Nintendo, are bound to silence by NDAs, and will release alongside the next Switch.

Are you serious? You've lost respect for a company because they didn't release a game fast enough?

Man, what flavorade have you been chugging?

I'm replying to this to bookmark.

I look forward to the day your prophecy came true and your third eye fully opens.

More people doesnt mean better game, or even faster game. Team cherry is specifically an indie game company, because thats how they work. Its like a company replacing the reasons game was good in the first place, team cherry are 3 people, because this way they can organize better. Why would it make it faster? Assuming the problem is ideas, then its either not gonna speed up, or they gonna have bad ideas. If its programming, then more problems to organize. Team cherry is less of a company, and more of group of "friends", though im not sure of how team cherry feels. But no, this makes no sense. Team cherry isnt a machine that needs more manpower, its a machine thats already working as intended, time is still needed.
3 ppl? from where u got that info? or its like with manor lords 1 ppl, who hired 100 ppl in the background but said he was a solo dev thinker ?)))
