unable to locate game files for modinstaller!

i recently got gog and it didnt work so i uninstalled and went back to steam for modding but now when i try to mod it says unable to locate game files when its installed on my hard drive :( someone please help! :(

Switch back to 1.4 modinstaller is broken on 1.5 until they update it.

This happens with me too, i have hollow knight installed on my hard drive and when i use modinstaller it says it's unable to find the folder, so you have to reinstall modinstaller every time you want to open it, use the download from the hollow knight discord, download it, launch it and then find your hard drive.

thanks i figured it out i just had to free up space and reinstall on my actual pc and it worked so thanks for helping!
