So I’ve never actually played hollow knight properly, and am considering doing so, but I’d like to know, should I play it on ps5 or on steam deck? Or does it not matter so much?

I don't have experience with Hollow Knight on either of those devices but I know Hollow Knight runs well on Switch so it probably doesn't matter if the switch can run it. Unless you care about achievement percentages.

I heard it runs perfectly on Steam Deck. I plan on picking it up next time it’s on sale. Anyways I’ve played through Hollow Knight twice once on Switch and once on PS5. To be honest I prefer to play on handheld so in my opinion I would get it for Steam Deck.

I have a steam deck, and it runs perfectly. Id say whatever is most convenient for you. Hollow knight is a pretty well-optimized game, so performance isnt really a problem.
