Notch Bug?

I just started playing Hollow Knight for the first time and just got the dash ability. I went to purchase a Charm Notch for 120 Geos and it showed I purchased it, but it's not showing in my inventory. I still only have 3 notch slots... do I need to equip the charm notch I just bought in some way? Or is this a bug? I've searched for other people having a similar issue and I haven't come across anything!

Interesting update... reloaded the game, still only have 3 notches but the shop is showing I can purchase the notch again for 120. I definitely had the geos taken from me (I had 100 when I got to the shop so needed to do some quick clean up around the area to get the 120 I needed to get the notch and I only have 30 geos at the moment (which in-game is only a few minutes after I bought the charm). So definitely bugged but hopefully I can just purchase the notch again without an issue.

You select which charms to equip at the bench if i remember correctly.

No, yo don't equip the charm notch.

And if you had the chance to buy it again, that migh be a bug, if you are sure it took the geo from you the first time.

I was worried I'd see more issues after that bug but nearly 30 hours later, it's been pretty smooth. Loving this game!
