What is the worst thing of Hollow Knight in general?
Hollow Knight is a great game and i personally love it so much that i cant really find a bad thing about it. There are some small bad things about the game but I think all of these "bad features" make the game even more fun. I personally find Absolute Radiance wayyyyyy to hard and didnt beat it its normally a downgrade but I think it adds as so fun challenge into the game. Thats why im asking the community to give me something bad about the game

what timetable?
and have you heard of "change your charms at a bench"?

Lack of Silksong is the worst thing) And perhaps a slow start. The rest is just great. Length, pacing, difficulty curve, lore, community, I love everything about it)

Spell Twister

Try to beat P5 with that build. It's easy, you could probably beat it in under 30-40 minutes? I took 40 minutes to beat the entire godseeker mode so I urge you to see if you can beat atleast P5 or godseeker with my build and see how long it takes and how easy it is.

P.S it's called Pure Vessel. I haven't looked at other comments so idk if you were corrected yet sorry.

Hot take - I felt the last bit of DLC wasn't great. It's free and entirely optional so it's hard to complain there but I feel like it didn't add anything. I didn't play the game until some time after it came out so experiencing the some of the other content seamlessly weaved into the game felt so good and it was a pleasant surprise to find it out it was extra stuff. I didn't get the same vibe from the latest.

The difficulty/ending seems to be my biggest grip. Everything else in the game is tough but it feels like with enough practise and patience it can all be overcome. Hell - despite struggling with Nightmare Grimm I was eventually able to beat him without taking a single hit, but then the final DLC came out and I feel all semblance of balanced design and challenge was gone. To unlock the new ending you need to beat a boss rush mode that has all the game bosses, plus some extra, and you need to go without all your upgrades. This was clearly not added because they thought it was fun, it feels like someone at Team Cherry thought "All the Souls fans are being irritating and saying the game is easy to feel big. Throw out something to shut them up."

Which is annoying because if it was simply a platform to allow you to refight bosses or just the reimaginged versions of some (like the Three Sisters) it would have been better. Locking a new ending behind it and requiring you to beat so much without any upgrades was too much.

Easily the Pantheon of Hallownest (P5). Even a 112% Steel Soul run is easier and less stressful. P5 isn't even a challenge, just a terrible grind to try the same boss a couple times until you get a good run.
Absolute Radiance itself is an RNG fest too. Even after practicing enough to clear the fight on Radiant I still ended up with unavoidable nonsense attack patterns ruining the P5 run and wasting 45 minutes of my life. Multiple times.

My problem with Godmaster, as I kind of explained in my first post on this thread, is that contents of the expansion are treated as separate to the rest of the game. You couldn’t experience any of the new boss fights by discovering them while exploring the world, the way you did with every other boss made up to that point, but instead by grinding challenges to “unlock them”.

I think the reason so many were frustrated by Godmaster is because it felt like they were playing a different game to what they had played before. Imagine if instead of obtaining the Void Heart and the awoken Dream Nail to access the fight with The Radiance and get the game’s true ending, you had to go and beat 5 versions of the Path of Pain in the White Palace, and then you’d just be dumped outside the boss room next to a bench.

That’s essentially what Godmaster feels like. Something that’s not at all related to the rest of the game, and doesn’t feel anything like what I bought Hollow Knight for.

What? Are you mistaking the bindings as a necessity or something? Because there's nothing in Godhome other than the *optional* bindings that take away your upgrades. You can 100% beat Pantheon of Hallownest without ever beating a single pantheon with a single binding active.

Looking at the map doesn't pause the game. The gotcha moments where you can't have known something then you take damage. Just touching the enemies is where I take most damage not their attacks. Not being able to see the enemies and jumping on them sucks. Falling/gravity is a tad too fast I can't react midair fast enough. But what are they bugs so gravity should be lower than what it is. To see down you have to stand and push down too see so what about when you're in the air I'm supposed to guess what's coming? The price on the lamp to see in the dark is too damn high for a utility item you need in just a few places. The map is over complicated that even if I finished the game 2 times I can't grasp where I am a lot of the time. Too little slots for abilities and the slots they take up aren't balanced for what some actually do. Early game too hard late game is a breeze normal games should be the other way around. Trying to finish the game without getting Myla infected is too annoying to do I can't do the shadow jump at the end of the ancient basin to get to the monarch wings it's too tight to do for my xbox controller. Platforming too tight it's dev's way or the highway when you play it long enough you see this and it annoyed me. I like more ways than one to do things in games. Losing all your geo to the cancerous hive bees when you try to go there early sucks I got mad for that normal bee takes 4 hits to kill the big ones .... ages and they're too big and fast to dodge when there's 2 stingers and 2 of those fat ones. Trying to do things different is punishing which is why I lost all my geo to the bees F#c% those bees (real bees die when they sting you the stinger gets stuck in you as it should bee) and ♥♥♥♥ this xbox controller. Also when you take damage the dither ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ no sound stagger pushes me into the next damage that's coming I don't like to be combo'd to death it's a skill issue don't take damage in the first place yeah probably I won't play at all then I won't lose geo or take damage, done with this I'll wait for silksong hope it improves drasticly cause the overal vibe, animations and art + wordbuilding, music is very nice.
