so i just installed scarab and i wana now what are the best mods?

-I've only tried the Randomizer, which is pretty fun.

-I've seen people recommend Pale Court.

-If the kind of thing you like, you could try Hallownest Vocalized, a mod that adds fan-made voice acting to the game.

Maybe I'm weird but I liked Blind Radiance a lot. Really helped me see AR's attacks. The HP bar mod is another popular one. I installed it to check my progress on AR, so I don't know it how would feel for a whole game but I liked it for this.

-Custom Knight/ CustomKnightPlus - allows you to use skins
Utility:
-Benchwrap - allows you to fast travel between benches VERY useful
-DebugMod - allows you to turn on no clip/invisibility or show hitboxes
-QoL - i don't like using it but is considered as one of best utility mods

-Randomizer 4 let's you randomise almost everything very fun mod
--RandoMapMod - let's you randomise room transitions the most fun version of randomisation forces you to search for interesting skips and/or fight with different builds then in vanilla game
--RCPathfinder - very useful mod for map randomizer help you find yourself in map randomizer
