Was I supposed to kill the nailsmith

Just assisted The Nailsmith in his suiide but there’s another achievement called happy couple? Like what was I supposed to do for that so I can do it in my next play through instead of cutting nailsmith down?

You were suppose to just walk away and give him time to think about his life and end up finding him at one of the Nail Art guys. Or kill him. Either way, your choice. Can always replay the game again. No right or wrong way to play. Achievements are nothing at the end of the day. *Shrug*
