Credits secret? Holding “X” causes screen shake and vibrate.
While trying to skip the credits I happened to hold “X” and it caused a screen shake and a small vibration to happen on my steam deck. It caused the credits themselves to shake as well. This happened on a file in slot 2 with 109% completion and only happens with the “true” ending, not the sibling ending.

It didn’t occur when I would hold X during the credits of a file that had the basic ending.

Is this supposed to unlock something like as the start of a button input code? I wasn’t able to find anything online. I’m able to reproduce the effect on repeat but no other button except “X” gives a response.

I'm not familiar with controllers, is "X" the attack button?
If so, it might just be a bug, probably something to do with the "final attack" sequence not being properly ended, like the game thought you could continue striking the Radiance even after the fight ended.

Does it continue to happen if you verify the integrity of game files? (Library -> Right-click on game -> Properties -> Local files -> Verify integrity of game files)

Yes X is the attack button on my setup.

So I validated the files as you suggested and refought Radiance. I paid extra attention to the vibration responses at the end of that fight too. The response I’m getting during credits is entirely different (it’s a single pulse as opposed to two-ish mini pulses).

It won’t trigger with a simple button press, you have to hold X. Also the credits themselves visually shake in time with the vibration so it’s striking me as intentional.

Are you or anyone else able to recreate this on a file of their own?

it was an entirely different credits scene, so I wasn't sure. But I held X and my controller vibrated, so I think if it was the normal credits scene it would have worked
