need help about achievement.

I had pirated hollow knight before. I played most of the game but when I bought the game some achievements I supposed to have doesn't appear although I still have the old save file. Does anyone have any to fix it?

EDIT: For anyone expecting something else I have one more question. The "Banishment" achievement say that I have to banish grimm troupe from Hallownest but when I defeated NKG the achievement doesn't pop up(I beat NKG after I bought the game but I summon grimm troupe around 2 months or longer before I bought the game). When I look up on youtube they said I have to get the carefree melody from a bug on Dirtmouth after banish grimm troupe and it will appear but I didn't see that bug. Is there anything I missed that make the bug doesn't appear?

The fix is quite simple, actually. Don't pirate games and you won't have an issue with your pirate saves not working. You'll have to play through the game again to unlock achievements - they aren't retroactive.

If I have to play through the entire just to get these achievements I wouldn't make a question here bud. I just ask to see if there is a way to fix that if not...guess I have to play the entire game again.

Maybe don't pirate the game and then admit it on the steam forums? Recipe for account suicide right there.

I did bought the game duh. Look at all my game.

In regards to steam achievements, you could use Steam Achievement Manager (SAM). Not sure if those also unlock the ones in-game though, maybe there's a mod for that

oh ♥♥♥♥ lemme find how to turn off private. Now I dont have to get that hellish "void" achievement anymore thanks.

i had the same problem here, even with my old save file

i found that once you use a bench on that file, most of your achievements will all at once flood your account, but some (like the pantheons, void, and the delecate flower one) where you get the achievement after completing the one time action, you have to do the action again for the achievement to go to steam

thats at least how it was for me, not sure about others since ive never seen this really talked about before. best of luck to you though!

Account being set to private does not get rid of the mouse icon next to your name on every single post on this forum. Not to mention the fact that asking about steam achievements not popping if you don't own the game makes zero sense. HeadWood was just having a dumdum moment.

Also OP already has the in-game achievements, so not sure why you're even considering the need for a mod to unlock those. But even if someone wanted those for some reason, I think people have used Cheat Engine for that before. (Mentioning that mostly in case someone stumbles upon this discussion in the future)

Some achievements like “Dream no more” or “Void” are some adchievement I already completed when pirated the game but when I buy the game and open the game it’s doesn’t pop up. So yeah I’m just asking how to get it without do it again.
