I just beat Pantheon 3 All Bindings!

This took a week's-worth of attempts - and Gray Prince Zote took what feels like years-worth of my sanity - but I FINALLY did it!

This was a huge achievement for me, yet not one I can share with most people in my life without having to offer a ton of context, so I hope you don't mind me bragging a little bit here. On to P4AB!

grats, that's rough stuff even without Zote, and Zote himself is a rage-inducing nightmare.

i usually accept my fault in deaths and just move on but.. i don't think i've ever said "really...", more times than i have with Zote's flail and fall attack.
sometimes i almost swear the fall is timed to my first swing.

gl on P4, at least LK is early on, but it's a pretty brutal list that's above my completion atm.

Thank you! Zote was a brick wall for sure. I wonder if my attempts against him have run into the hundreds. Regardless, after more than a dozen hours of practice, I still can't say I feel consistent with him; just less flustered by his awkward, barely predictable moveset. I consider him the most frustrating boss in the game, even over floorless Markoth.

(Although, weirdly, I did reach a level of borderline enjoyment for his boss fight that I never did for Markoth. At least I get to him in the face a bunch :D)

That's incredibly impressive. I gave up on all-binding runs on the third because I couldn't beat The Collector...

I have to say, P4AB was *much* easier than P3AB. The fights are slower because there are so many tanky bosses, and Pure Vessel was a nailbiter, but all of the bosses in P4 feel simpler to learn. The gap between beating PV and beating PV consistently isn't too large; by the time you can do the fight, you can probably do it well because it's such a predictable move-and-counter dance. The gap between beating Zote and beating Zote consistently? Waaaay more demanding. Plus, The Collector required learning how to do the fight in a completely different way (Cyclone Slash ftw).

I am definitely NOT going to punish my body and soul trying to do P5AB. I nearly had a heart attack doing P3, lmao. I can't imagine what the stress is like 23 bosses and 50+ minutes into a P5AB attempt just to *get* to The Collector and his primal aspids... [shudders]

i was actually going to mention P4 being easier to complete than P3, but like i said prior, you are ahead of my completion progress. i feel it's a pretty large assumption for me to say such.

what you say is sensible though. PV is a boss i completely zone out on since the timing is consistent, although rather tight timing if you rely exclusively on shade. (like i do)
my biggest issue with PV is not snapping out of my "zone" during his final attack phase and forgetting to jump.

the thing is that, i've never tried fighting PV with AB. AB can change everything. i don't even think i've ever fought PV without quick-slash. that itself will force me to play it different, so idek lol.

thinking about making it to P5AB PV and/or AbsRad gives me slight anxiety.
even the Collector though..
imagine dying to the Collector... then starting over only to get beat up by Marmu the next run. i'd lose it, and idk what i'd do when i lost it.
