the files between a windows and linux OS do look different...the labels on linux look like:
.config/unity3d/Team Cherry/Hollow Knight/user1.dat
with windows:
Team Cherry/Hollow Knight/user1.dat
however, the file is always just user1.dat, so i'm going to try putting the one from windows where the current user1.dat file is on my linux system but renaming it...i'll let everyone know how it goes.
It's possible Steam will prompt you to choose between your current save file and your Windows one, so choose mindfully! (If you want to be sure, make backups when steam gives this prompt! Save file locations are detailed in the event thing.)
That's cool...the unfortunate thing about hollow knight is by default you only get 4 save files when there are 10. It's not as simple as "each save file is a game". At this point, i'm not sure whether i'll do the whole game for 112%, i was able to recover a godhome save but unfortunately it doesn't allow you to fight absolute radiance automatically, so i'll probably just use mess around with other games in my steam library and hope the solksong devs don't keel over and die before they release it!
I could provide you with a save file that has 112% and AR unlocked, if you want (but also all bindings done and nearly all statues fully completed), or you could try using bloodorca's save file editor to unlock the AR statue : https://bloodorca.github.io/hollow/
(not sure which line(s) to change though)
