Verse 1:
"Ohhh, bury my mother, pale and slight,
bury my father with his eyes shut tight!
Bury my sisters two by two,
and then when you're done, let's bury me toooo!"
Verse 2:
"Ohh, bury the knight with her broken nail,
bury the lady, lovely and pale!
Bury the priest in his tattered gown,
then bury the beggar with his shining croooown!"
Oh, and if you listen to her after she's partially infected, you get this. I don't think it's part of the song though, just a butchered version of the song:
"...Bury my body... c-cover my shell,
What meaning in darkness? Yet here I remain...
I'll wait here forever...till light blooms again... "
Thanks for the lyrics, SpiderGlitch. I agree, that last verse is probably not part of the original song. Seems that last verse could have been written by a certain somebody who's been on a lot of bugs' minds, so to speak. In case it isn't obvious, the Radiance is waiting forever until she can get out of the Black Egg Temple.
The first verse is talking about the queen king and the dead hallow knight.
2nd verse is about the different endings.
That’s my take at least.
To elaborate the 2nd verse
First line is the regular ending
Second has Hornet intervention
Third use the dream nail which the priest gives you
Fourth, Godseeker has golden head aka crown.
Prove me wrong 😑
but also the queen isn't dead so im not sure that works
