Hollow Knight: Lifeblood Released for all Players

The Hollow Knight Lifeblood Update is now available to all players across Windows, Mac & Linux.

This is a major update to the game that includes a tonne of tweaks, optimisations and some new content.

The update will download automatically for all Steam players.

Lifeblood Features

• One boss has been seriously upgraded. A true challenge awaits!

• Map Markers are here! Cartographers rejoice!
  
• Extras added to the Extras menu!

• Optimisations and performance enhancements

Hollow Knight: Lifeblood includes major under-the-hood changes. If you experience any issues, please report them in this thread. We'll collate and fix as we go.

Thanks for your work, should Beta players go out of the Beta branch then? Will that corrupt save files?

You can stay in the beta branch for now or move back to the main branch, either is fine. Just be aware that we may be pushing some small bug fixes out over the next week or so and these will go through the beta branch first.

I just got the update a few hours on the stable branch and my old save from Grimm's Troupe won't load. It just hangs indefinitely at the loading screen.

Elaborate please? I don't want to spend 2 hours on the wiki checking what was changed, like last time when notches on certain charms were changed.

Shoot the save file through to [e-mail] and we'll work on getting it sorted.

@Xan: The folks over on http://hollowknight.wikia.com have done a great breakdown for many of the new fixes and changes. This isn't 100 percent accurate, but it's very very close, and very comprehensive.

Soooooo... any idea when we will get Gods and Glory? I am not quite statisfied with Lifeblood... Don´t get me wrong, I like what you did and apreciate the free content. But the new Boss wasnt hard at all and after the Grimm Troupe DLC I expected a little more gameplay u know...

When unlocking hunter's notes for a creature in the journal, the game no longer auto scrolls to the entry when you open the journal.
