How do I use scarab mod installer?

At which step exactly do you have trouble? Are you using Linux, mac or windows?

The way i did it (Linux) :
-Downloaded scarab;
-Extracted it;
-Ran the file named "Scarab" through the terminal with the following commands :
cd [filepath to the directory containing scrarab]
chmod +x Scarab (i only used this one once, when running Scarab afterwards i didn't need it(it's also possible that i didn't need it at all, i don't know because i didn't try without))
./Scarab

Then, i checked the "Installed?" box of the mod i wanted.(it didn't work at first, i think Scarab was still loading.)

Thx I got It working now. But still don’t know how to use hkmp but I now know how to use custom knight. I use windows

You could download it, look into the "mods" folder located in "Hollow Knight/hollow_knight_data/managed" (right-click on HK in your library -> "manage" -> "browse local files" to easily find it)
look into the hkmp folder and read the readme, it might provide useful information on how to use it.
