You don't need to do all bindings at once to complete P3, you can do one binding at a time for the 4 different bindings, it will still unlock the next pantheon.
Thanks, i know. Already did Needle and Soul debuffs, the others are far worse tho imo, especially no Charms, which is effectively an all around gimp mode.
I mean it's bad enough he can jump around, spawn minions, use his sword and walk back n forth in an irritating, non-linear fashion, it's almost as if every option features yet another layer of random:
"Oh, he's gonna wield his sword around!"
- *falls on his face and produces wave instead*
"Oh, he's jumping out of the screen so he'll land at my current position!"
- *lands in front of you to hit you while walking/jumping/dashing*
"Ah right, he's doing his on-screen jumps, guess he'll land over there!"
- *changes trajectory mid air*
"Yo, spawning his minions, guess they'll be flying, better rdy them wraiths.
- *spawns Spider Zotes you miss*
Srsly, ♥♥♥♥ this. I know diving has invincibility frames, but those take a while to get active, too, also Soul dependant...
Team Cherry, why dost ye taunt me so?
I'd rather fight Pure Vessel any day, he's very difficult to react to, but at least he has actual patterns to do so.
Edit: Should i ever attempt Steel Soul i will let him be eaten by the Vengefly King and be cheering!!
I know his attacks are extremely random, but they're all possible to dodge, it's just really awkward.
Oh btw: ♥♥♥♥ Uumuu, too. XP
His patterns are unusual but they are not as bad as You described. If you want I can give You some tips.
my reflexes are relativly weak but i still managed to beat him on radiant. Try to find movment patterns working for his both posible versions of started attack.
I'm actually surprised that You didn't mentioned Collector because IMO collector with all bindings is the hardest fight of all 4 bindings fights.
Honestly I find Markoth enjoyable. In fact he was one of the first bosses I beat on Radiant. Imho ascended and radiant Xero are much more difficult.
Really? I think Collector is a total pushover lol, hardest struggle is that against boredom really. I just stick close to him and nail away. I remember 1st trying him in Story Mode, only boss in the whole game i think, maybe i was overequipped, dunno. Never tried all 4 bindings at once tho, i think no charms is bad enough in my book.
That "dive while waiting for drop" strategy is really working well tbh, one less guessing game plus a bit of extra damage. Another thing i hate about him are his stupid exploding balloons. They're easy enough to dodge, but the aural as well as visual noise they produce really make it hard to make out what Zote's up to. Get surprised quite often by him falling on me seemingly out of nowhere since i totally missed any queues.
Apart from Zote and Uumuu this Pantheon is really quite easy imo, Nail Master is a bit tedious but at least predictable.
With this fight, the biggest key is probably to constantly keep the right distance (for me I find this is usually about a Zote's-width away, unless it's a good time to attack of course), and being prepared for each possibility. Move as he moves, and be prepared for variations. Like if you want to pogo as he starts flailing Life Ender around, then be ready for the possibility he will fall so you can handle both outcomes. When he falls off screen you know he's going to fall wherever you are next. If he starts spitting Zotelings you can attack him if you're good at dodging or attack the Zotelings if you feel you'll be too crowded by them, etc. (Adjust as needed for whatever would work for you, problem solving each situation as you go.)
Sure I picked up some tricks from the usual tips videos like using the down spell as he's diving from the ceiling, but most of my ability to do this fight hitless comes from those first two factors of keeping a good distance and being prepared for whatever might come next.
i HATE UUMUU!!!!!!
I see. Yeah i didn't even consider his minions could take more than 1 hit, surely that changes the situation.
P4 overall is far easier imo, well, with the exception of pure vessel, still can only beat him like 1/5, but i'm getting there. At least he's somewhat consitent...
