1) From the City of Tears Stag Station, go up one room. If you take the lifts, you should eventually find a door on the left that will lead you to a big lift up to Resting Grounds. From there, go right, take the platforms up, and hit the switch to unlock the door to Xero's arena if you haven't already. Go right until you get to the big vertical room, then follow rezno's advice.
2) From the Forgotten Crossroads, the tram a few rooms above where you fought Gruz Mother will lead to Resting Grounds if you picked up the Tram Pass in Deepnest. Otherwise, the ledge above Salubra's shop will lead to Blue Lake, with the elevator from City on the other side (although I'm pretty certain you need Crystal Heart or Monarch Wings to get up on that ledge in the first place).
3) In Crystal Peak, go right from the bench near the bottom of the area, then go up until you find another door on the right (be careful of the crystal-throwing flying bugs). You'll be in a dark room with platforms, crystal spikes in between them, and more flying bugs; if you have the lantern, you should be able to just dash through without much trouble. On the other side of this room is a gap you'll need Crystal Heart to get across, but dropping down the gap on purpose will get you to Resting Grounds. (If you do cross the gap, you'll get to another Snail Shaman area, which has some pretty tricky/frustrating platforming but rewards you with a spell upgrade.)
