I experienced the exact same issue, but couldn't be bothered to write the entire thing, especially as my English is quite lacking. So i prefered just copy pasting his post, instead of just bumping an older post.
But instead of respondiing to the issue i presented, you bothered to mention the previous post, which apparantly you remembered by heart even though it was posted 3 months ago.
Because your complaint is largely a non-issue.. This does not affect your gameplay, or set you back at all. 1200 Geo is nothing at this point in the game. All you miss is some dialogue from the shop-keeper. You can still reach maximum completion percentage without it.
Does it suck you can't go back and get? yeah, sorta-kinda. Not entirely sure why they felt it was necessary to boot you out of the room. A weird design choice to be sure, but nothing that warrants such thinking of "oh no, now im doomed. 0/10 ign" this thread presents.
I don't think i see your point.
Just because it's minor doesn't mean i shouldn't, nor am i not allowed to critisize a bad design choice.
On the contrary, when a game is designed so well for the most part, it's only fitting to mention some flaws you did encounter.
And for all you know those 1200 could've saved me an hour of farming, and maybe i wanted to see the dialogue/lore without googling it at the time.
Or maybe i just have an extreme case of OCD and the missed item bugs me.
Either way implying that there's no reason for such a complaint just because it's "a non issue" in your opinion, is rather arrogant.
I simply say the truth. 99.99% of people do not care about missing the egg, hence why no one really bothered to reply on either the old thread or this one.
I never said there's no reason for this complaint. My point is that you're making this out to be a bigger deal than it actually is. The issue isnt "the complaint" itself, its "how it was worded." It's not allowing for any room for discussion, simply "WOW THE NERVE" and stopping there. The thread you copied implies it was a huge game-ruining experience because of the fact the OP thought that it locked him out of in-game 100% completion.
If you want to farm Geo, there's the colesium. Conquerers takes 5 minutes and gives 1,800. If you have OCD about it, thats your fault not the game. you want to see the dialogue in-game? Fair point right there. I too want to and always forget about the egg when I get to that point
It's my own fault that there's a missable item in an area where if you pick a different item, you get kicked and locked of it? A scenerio that ( As far as i remember) never happened prior , as you were always allowed to backtrack to any previous location, even the starting "tutorial" area?
Gimme a break.
This is clearly a very poor design choice, especially when taken into account that this is the only instance ( As far as i know) that this occurs.
Luckly, the missable item is just there to be sold and for 1 line of lore.
