Point of no return?
There are ~20-25 hours counting on my save slot and I wonder if there is any point of no return in this game?
I want collect all the stuff before I met the final boss and as for now I've collected all three masks and I assume that the door which is now open is the last area in the game.
Will there be any warning before the endgame battle? If not, can you describe (without spoilers :D) where should I stop and go back for missing stuff?

UPD: after unlocking certain door at the end of the game, I've entered a long dark location with a bench in a middle of it. Right to the bench there is a statue which breaks the 4th wall and tell you where to look for your completeness percent — and there will be even % on the save slot.

After you beat the game, you can continue as usual from the last save point. You can get all 5 endings on one save file. It's best to get the first ending as *early* as possible, before you lock yourself out of it. If you proceed too far with your exploration and item collection and make a certain storyline trigger happen, you'll unlock the 2nd and 3rd available endings and the first one will be gone.

I think the only other missable item (other than making different choices on NPC storyline achievements) is a relic in a certain sub-location of The Abyss.

There isn't any point of no return at the end of the game. It's the opposite, actually. If you do too much you'll miss out on an ending and the achievement related.

If you avoid going to a "birthplace" using a 5 notch charm, you'll be fine.

Do you mean that there's a "freeplay" mode after reaching the end? I mean, after the ending you must start a new game or you can continue exploring as before?

Sorry for being unclear, no, i meant that because you can miss out on an ending, there's technically a point of no return reverse of what you originally meant.

I'd say it "breaks the 4th wall" as much as the in-game instructions for how to look down or how to use spells do.

(Let us know what you think of that first ending, if you feel like it.)
