Time your jumps and dashes with the beam as best you can,
Avoid clinging to walls as jumping off them can send you directly into the beam (you can do these and they can be much faster but if you don't want to get hit it's not worth the risk)
Practice it as much as you can in the hall
Watch people do radiant x amount of times in a row videos to find which one you can replicate best
Also, if you haven't already, turning down the game's brightness a little may help making the beams easier to see.
