Hornet is missing [Spoilers]

I may have discovered a bug in the game if you leave the Monarch wings too long. I've got a 112% game completion but hornet does not appear at the black egg.

So I have the Void heart, killed the dreamers (done last) & completed the seers quest line. I was able to get into the discarded shell area (where you obtain the Kings Brand) before obtaining the monarch wings.

I was curious to see what happened if you completed the final pantheon before killing the dreamers but I am also locked out of that (behaves as If I didn't have the void heart).

So is this a bug or have I missed something?

Have you used any cheats/mods? I've only heard of cases where Voidheart wasn't recognized in the game if someone didn't get each fragment and Voidheart the normal way.

If not, then you might need to verify the integrity of your game files through Steam.

Like above, have you used Debug Mod or modified your save file or in any other way modified the game?

No mods and no tampering with the game files in any way. Also pun was unintended.

Try dying and see if your shade is aggressive, it should be killed in one hit if you have Voidheart, also try to get the normal/true ending, to get true ending you most have voidheart, and hornet must appear.

Are you playing on version 1.4.3.1 (last stable patch), or 1.5 (public beta)? I forgot to ask this and if switching might make a difference (though probably not).

Also I'll point out I recently did a run on the beta where I saved the wings until AFTER fighting Hornet in Kingdom's Edge and I had no problems later when I went for True Ending.

On that save I defeated Broken Vessel and Lost Kin early for the Essence, but left the wings alone for a long time before grabbing them and going for True Ending. (I picked them up after I defeated Hornet 2 and got King's Brand, but before the White Palace.)

On that run, I kept health at 5 masks, but I'm sure I did everything else you can do for % completion. I really doubt the order of when you got wings (or any other ability or upgrade) would matter. Something else is wrong here.

Ah, no worries. I have that sometimes too. I've seen similar threads in discussions here, where people's memories were misleading them. Human memory is very unreliable.
Most important is that you let everyone know and that everything is fine in your game!
