Where should i go?

Sum-up. I defeated Hornet on Greenpath. Explored Fog Canyon for a bit, Fungal Wastes (brief Mantis Village for Mantis Claw) and arrived to the City of Tears. Through Soul Sanctum, i opened a shortcut to Forgotten Crossroads.
Remembered about some path up near place, where game starts and reach Howling Cliffs.
If there is no way in Howling Cliffs, i dunno where should i go.
P.S. There is sorta guide on Steam, but it looks very terrible.

Wander around, fill out your maps, buy more maps (listen for the humming bug in new places, although there a few that can't be obtained till later), try to find bosses for better/necessary upgrades, try to find ways to the floating heads on your map (if you can't get to it they probably require an ability or item), or wait for someone who remember's their first play through better than I do to post here

Defeat the boss in mantis village, if you've been to soul sanctum then you must've been to city of tears so wander around there for a bit, everything you need is there. And have you tried going left after falling down in howling wraiths at the beginning of the game?

You have many options here! Some of them:
✅ In Forgotten Crossroads, you can go right
✅ In City of Tears, you can jump/dash from a moving elevator to a platform
✅ In City of Tears, you can find and use a Simple Key at the bottom

So you have Mantis Claw and you've done Soul Sanctum? A lot of options should be open to you now.

If you'd like to visit Howling Cliffs, you have two ways in:
- hint for one entrance: Start at Dirtmouth and keep going left.
- hint for another entrance: Explore the upper right part of Greenpath thoroughly. (This is how I got there my first time.)

When you feel ready, I suggest either heading *down* from City, or *right* from Crossroads. Helps if you have something with you to light your way through dark places but if you don't, you might want to do the upper route to the right from Crossroads. (If you can't get past that point, then maybe you do have more to do in City.)

It is an item that will activate anytime by itself when it can be used

Ah, that's good, and I see you have the Lantern. There are a couple of interesting things to find in Cliffs before you leave. Look for breakable walls!

Offtop. Is there anything that allow you to place your own marks on the map? For example, a place, where i cannot go yet like Crystal Peak there is breakable floor, which requires an ability from Soul Master.

Yes, in Dirtmouth there is a shop on the right where you can buy map markers, icons for many utilities and more

Very good idea. Like above mentioned ^^^ You can buy map pins in Iselda's shop.
Some other tips:
✅ You can Double-tap the Quick Map button to open the full map.
✅ Charm combination: Thorns of Agony (Greenpath) + Grubsong (Grubfather/Forgotten Crossroads) will greatly increase your early game survivability.
