skipped awoken dream nail by accident

i was playing the game on my main save that i wanted to get 100% on when i got to the ghost fights and godhome fights when i started i had 600 essence and ended with 2500 essence so when i went to the moth i got the 2400 essence dialogue and skipped the awoken dream nail dialogue by accident. i want the awoken dream nail to get into white palace but i dont know how to get it know

If the Seer is gone, check your inventory to see if your Dream Nail happened to get upgraded. If she’s still there, then you probably got the like 900 essence conversation because they should be queued up and just try talking to her some more.

If you have the Awoken Dream Nail in your inventory, then it should be okay.

Just cause you skip the dialogue doesn't mean you don't get the reward, as long as you have the awoken dream nail in your inventory you're fine.

i tried dream nailing the guard at white palace 3 times after i got 2500 essence didnt work

i checked my inventory it says "dream nail" and it also says i have 2553 essence which is more than you need for awoken dream nail. and seer is gone i have checked 3 times and reset my game but she is still gone

also when i checked the achivements its says i dont have the awakening achivement. so the dream nail isnt hidden. the game legit says its non existent even tho i have 2500 essence

If you don't have it and the moth seer isn't there anymore you might be out of luck.

Yup! Use bloodorca's Online Save Editor (do backups first)

Search (Ctrl+F is your friend) for dreamNailUpgraded. It should be true.

If the game somehow skipped you straight to 2400 from the point you were at (assuming you previously got the first four rewards), then you're missing four other rewards, two of which are tied to the completion percentage.

I haven't tested this myself, but would suggest doing this:

1. Upload the save file into the editor: https://bloodorca.github.io/hollow/
   
2. Set "mothDeparted" to false
   
3. Verify integrity of game files: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2037-QEUH-3335
   
4. Download the edited save file and put it back where it was

i will try this but wouldn't that just make the seer disappear again cause I have 2500 essence like it did with the dream nail, creating the same problem that started this thread

The game is not supposed to skip reward conversations. It's supposed to make you sit through all of them, even if you have enough essence to immediately unlock the next one.
Whatever bug/glitch caused this issue, verifying the game files should fix it.

So you can try using my Online Tool to check if you already have all the Seer rewards:

You should have green checkmarks for these:

✅ #30 Dream Wielder charm
✅ Mask Shard #5
✅ Vessel Fragment #3
✅ Pale Ore #2
✅ Dream Gate

PS. Fun fact: bloodorca's Editor uses Javascript (the same as my tool), which is client-side (browser), so you don't actually upload files anywhere or download them 🙂 The Editor just reads a file, and then generates a new file that you can save. This works similarly like a program on a PC. So you can for example save the Editor page in .html on your disk, be totally disconnected from the internet and it will still work.
The same for my tool.
