When will Hollow Knight go on sale?

I absoluely love the look of this game, and I really want to buy it. However, seeing as the summer sale is right around the corner, I wanted to ask whether or not Hollow Knight would be on sale. (sorry I just wanted to use the cocaine emoji)

I'm 99% positive that it will be on sale during the summer sale. It will most probably be 50% off at that. As such, it is well worth the price considering that you can play it for 30-40 hours and still have new things to discover. I have played it for over a hundred hours and done almost everything the game has to offer.

I had to buy the game twice because the default price is not enough. Don't buy it on sale. The game deserves much more than its asking price.

Not at all, if they pay the full price and don't like it, they can simply get a refund. And if they choose they can come back while it's on sale and buy it again. I won't state my opinions on doing that because they might be a little strong but just saying, it's an option.

Yeah, but his point is that doing so will help support the developers. Can one really make an objective decision of whether the game is that good in the first two hours? Personally, if one really wanted to support the developers, I think they're better off buying the soundtrack or such.

I think that all people have their own opinions about how much something is worth to them. Telling them to do something (or "don't do it") just because we have such an opinion is not really very constructive. We can share our own opinions about something (e.g. the price) but the person is the one deciding what to do.
