Pantheon of the Artist, all bindings (help)
Alright so I am setting out to do all bindings for all pantheons. First pantheon was easy but this pantheon is getting on my nerves.
I can handle all the bosses easily save for the Oblobbles, Marmu, and Flukemarm.
How do you deal with these things of primal aspids of filth with all bindings?

Flukemarm is literally cyclone slash spam from the top platform downwards, then use abyss shriek. Then repeat this once or twice and it's dead.

For Marmu I didn't have the patience to practice the way he did, so I'll shamelessly post my own run here and you can check it out if it helps you.

Oh, by the way, if you still don't have the lifeblood thing, I suggest you do bindings individually so that you can enable lifeblood cocoons for your all bindings run.

So no one has anything that could help me deal with these 3?

Are you making use of spells and the nail arts?
Also, have you completed the bindings for Pantheons 1-4 to unlock the extra health?

Marmu - Been a while since I beat Marmu but what I remember is well timed strikes/up-strikes and Abyss Shriek

Flukemarm - at bottom ledge, hit the flukeflies(?) (can't remember their name), Abyss Shriek mamma when have soul and don't need to heal or just hit mamma. Some spawn patterns give better opportunity to attack than others.

Oblobbles - hit them, cast soul / Abyss Shriek. Run to a side to heal (ofc need to judge it). Versus last one, dash slash is good.

Yes I am using spells though I rarely use nail arts tbh. I do have the extra hp unlocked.

My main problem with Marmu is when I hit them they suddenly bounce on something and ram into me or when I hit him as he comes toward me, he slightly touches the ground and instantly comes back. It feels very unpredictable even though I have beaten him on radiant mode and beaten pantheon of hollownest on a separate save.

For flukewarm. Thanks, this entire time ive only been doing the tactic of doing the pogo non stop on em.

Oblobbles, I'll try that.

All these bosses are really easy, for flukemarm try to use your spells on the little flying things that come out of flukemarm, what i like to do is normal attack and after flukemarm spawns the flying guys go below and abyss shriek a bunch, make sure you hit the flying things with the abyss shriek as well then you can jump and hit flukemarm for soul and do the same thing.
For oblobbles try to get them all on one side, so instead of using abyss shriek use shade soul to group them together, and when they starting spitting at you go to the other side of the arena so you have plenty of time to dodge.
And for marmu... work on your reaction time, abyss shriek helps but it acts more as a defense then an attack, cause marmu gets away before you can get all the hits in, one thing i'd recommend is trying to attack them with the forward nail strike instead of upward strikes, except when marmu is above you, or play safe and dash away then turn around and attack.

I know they are not hard normally its just with all bindings I have a terribly hard time with them. Just the constant waves of attack with little chance to breath (Save for the oblobbles in between their aspid attack) give me a hard time.

I can't afford to stop for Marmu cus I'll get sonic the hedgehogged (Especially when he glitches to be stuck in the corner while I'm in the corner) and if I don't keep attacking flukemarm I'll get ganked up on.

There are two approaches for Marmu. Both work depending on what's comfortable for you. Either stand on one side of the screen and use the extra reach from Mark of Pride to keep swatting her as she appears. I don't know why but if you step forward *slightly* to meet her instead of waiting for her to come to you every time, it reduces (but doesn't eliminate) the likelihood she will rebound suddenly. The other way is to NOT stay in one corner and keep moving instead. I have done both ways and I'm starting to like this way better to do the fight with no hits. For the second way, you decide if you're going to swing at her, use a spell, or Shadow Dash through and regroup. Shadow Dash is very consistent for dodging her in this fight if you don't do the statue method of fighting. Also Descending Dark for i-frames and Shrieks if she's up at the top.

The Marmu fight arena in P2 is the non-thorn version, correct?
I remember trying staying in the corner and timing strikes, I also tried positioning the Knight underneath Marmu to try and get attacks to come straight down. I know it wasn't a clean fight and Marmu wiped out the blue health...

One technique I've briefly experimented with in preparation for P5 Marmu is charge the nail, wait til Marmu is just about to attack, then unleash Cyclone Slash, extending its duration by repeatedly tapping attack. That protects but not for the whole duration of a Marmu attack. I want to try and then link that to Descending Dark for the invincibility it gives. Maybe with good timing the slash and DD leave the Knight less vulnerable.

You're trying one binding at a time right? or are you trying to do it with every binding in one run?
Gabriel Feb 27, 2021 @ 11:14am
Also, just a note on the literal god's video: nail arts have been severely nerfed on the most recent patches (1.4.3.2 onwards). Previously, the nail binding did not apply to the nail arts, so do not expect the same results of that video.

I am doing all the bindings at once.

Wait what? I did not know about that.

I am doing all bindings, I cannot use mark of pride because of that.

Yeah, that's what made me take a break on doing all bindings for the pantheon of the sage, knight and hallownest. Check the notes here:

Jngo (the person playing in that video) played that on a patch prior to 1.4.3.2:

I think I'll try some of the stuff in this in my next run. Even if the nail art is weaker now.
