Cornifer in Fog Canyon without wings?

Okay, so for whatever reason I've decided just to do what I can without the wings. I was doing it first just so I didn't have to trigger crossroads change, but now I just want to see how long I can go without it. I've gotten a LOT on my own without looking up or asking how to bypass certain areas. Obviously there are still a few that are completely inaccessible, listed on the wiki. One of the things NOT listed as impossible is Cornifer in Fog Canyon. I cannot get up to him, and I really hate not having a map. Does anyone know how to get up there without them?

you simply pogo on the jellies and dash to the walls and walljump if necessary.

Personally I was once in the same situation as you, and I did what Whiskra said, it worked! Remember that when you fail the first time, you can always return to the room and they will respawn.

Well only the little jellies respawn unless you load from a bench. Are they enough to get you up there without wings? I seem to recall it being mandatory to pogo the big ones (who will harmlessly fall into the acid so you don't have to worry about them exploding) if you didn't have wings, but maybe I'm remembering it wrong.

I think that map was the last one I got and I'm always amused when I think about it because I filled out the entire area already by that time. Getting to Cornifer in that room (which I did from the right side) was the only part of Fog Canyon I had left. :')
