Right arrow key stops working for a second. Help.
When I press my right arrow key when I play Hollow Knight will either move and then stop or stop and then move again.

Funny thing, I had the same issue with my D key, I couldn't walk to the left sometimes in Factorio recently. I took away the key cap and cleaned up the switch from all the hair. Now it works perfectly, it was probably one of the hairs that got tangled up and sometimes made the key not actuate properly.

So, go clean up your keyboard and see if that helps.

Are you sure it's not a problem with your keyboard?

Is it just that one key or any direction/action? Can you tell us about your device (Desktop PC? Laptop?) and OS?

Its a Redragon K552 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard RGB LED Rainbow Backlit Wired Keyboard with Red Switches and I play on a desktop PC with windows ten. And my keyboard doesn't do this whenever I use the right arrow anywhere else.

I really don't know what could be causing that, have you tried searching for it on google? You should always do that to see if someone else had the same problem and fixed it before making a discussion.
Does the same thing happen when you change the right key binding to some other key?

I see you are using Big Picture. Do you have any other controllers connected? Make sure you have Native Controller Input (Beta) and Steam Input both set to off for Hollow Knight.

I have searched up on google and haven't found anything. And I was using a controller because it is really hard playing with the right arrow key problem. Also, It doesn't happen when I change the keybind to something else
What Controller is this? Try to disconnect this Controller from your PC, as well as all other controllers except keyboard and mouse, restart Windows, and see if this problem still persists.

It is an xbox one controller. And usually when I play I have it disconnected.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Did the cleaning help? You marked the cleaning post as answer. I'm a bit confused now, because in #3 post you wrote this:
