No Team Cherry folder

I cant fokus so i wanted to repair my game but i cant find my game files because there is no Team cherry folder in local appdata. does someone know where i can find it?

Try going into the options of your file explorer and check "show hidden files", maybe that can help. What OS do you use?

My OS is Windows 10* 64-bit. Sadly Show hidden folders doesnt help.

But you have saves in game?

Make sure this is LocalLow, not Local.

To be sure, just copy this text:

%USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Team Cherry\Hollow Knight\

Then press Windows + R keys, paste it inside, and press Enter. This will take you to this folder instantly.
You can also paste this path inside the File Explorer window too (and press Enter to go there instantly).

Don't worry, it's normal. Happens to me too sometimes. Local and LocalLow are confusing. Glad it helped! 🙂

Do you happen to know where else could save files be? In the directory `%USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Team Cherry\Hollow Knight\` I have only Player text file. It contains a lot of text. Including "FileNotFoundException: Could not find file "C:\Users\XXX\AppData\LocalLow\Team Cherry\Hollow Knight\user1.dat"

When I start the game in xbox pass my save is present but I bought it now in Steam and I don't have any saved games there. (I think they use same directory?)

Could there be any other location for save file? Some how xbox pass is able to start my save.

The new update of the Microsoft Store HK version (1.5.80.xxxx) changed the save location (and probably save format) used. I have no idea where the saves are stored for that version anymore. It was the same location as in the Steam version for 1.4.3.2 before.

So, the save files from the new MS Store version may not be compatible or interchangeable with the Steam version anymore.

If you'll find where the save files are stored for the MS Store version, please let us know.
