Unable to enter Junk pit

So I have been helping my friend through the game and they want to 112% it but when they try to go through the wall to the Junk Pit in royal waterways they just run into a wall. Does anyone know why this is happening?

Recently there was a post of someone, who couldn't find the Junk Pit, because they were trying in the wrong place in Royal Waterways. Maybe it's similar here.

Remember that the entrance to Junk Pit is above the entrance to the Flukemarm arena. And it doesn't require breaking any walls. It's a breakable ceiling, not a wall.

I'm pretty sure it does, unless the belfly breaks it by exploding close to it.

Just verified on a video. Yup, it's a breakable ceiling, not a wall. How easily I totally forget about such details!
