Zote is also a sibling, he was the very first vessel created, the Pale king sat with him for a minute and then went 'Yeah, from now on, these things don't talk' :hollowknight:

Quirrel is not dead and I hope that he will have an rematch in Silksong of that fight he had with Hornet in the comic. :)

Hornet is Void.

As for a serious response, i'm not really into the lore for this game so i guess Matpat's hollow knight theory is the best and absolutely nothing else is true. Reason? Am bored.

Wonder how many people i triggered :zote:

There is no perfect vessel, the HK needed to be replaced because it wasn’t pure, and so will your knight and the ones after it

People try to take the plot of this game literally whereas it is meant to be interpreted as an allegory. The Void is man's primal instinct, Radiance is faith in God, Pale King is faith in power.

The reason why the Knight was not Pure is revealed at the end of the Path of Pain. Your knight is likely truly pure.

I guess if Pure Vessel wasn't perfect then The Knight would be perfect because The Knight can easily beat Pure Vessel radiant, along with AbsRad (but maybe not "easily" for her for most people)

Yeah, i'm pretty sure Team Cherry admitted to not even knowing what the intended lore was to be for the most part, but people like to theorize things for fun anyways i guess, even if they're aware there is true lore.

I think the pale king wouldn’t have chosen THK if it wasnt pure, so my though was that it eventually became impure by having affection for the PK. I think that the main character would have a similar story, it would have affection for one of its friends it met (Hornet or Quirrel most likely) that would lead it to being impure just like THK

The player's knight shows zero affection to anything or anyone as far as the non head-canon things are concerned, so I'd disagree with that for sure.

The reason for whyit's possible to die/be physically changed through some dreams depends on how good the connection is.(Higher being's dream = better connection)(if it's through a third party, like the Godseeker, the connection isn't as good, therefore it isn't possible to die in Godhome. Edit : since this feels to me like more of a theory than a headcanon, should i delete this post?

If you die in a dream you don't die irl, you wake up next to the corpse you dream-nailed.

You do, in White palace and the regular Radiance fight. Both will end a Steel Soul run and break fragile charms.

THK must not have either, or else PK wouldn’t have chosen it

That is likely an oversight, otherwise why wouldn't you restart at a bench? And why is there an inconsistency between how Radiance puts you back at the bench, while the other dreams do not?

Also if what you are implying is true, then would that mean the false knight's grub is a Higher Being somehow? It just doesn't make sense even as head canon.
