[Bug] Stuck in Inventory-Map due to keybindings
Hey there,

Found a bunch of threads about this on Google before making this post. Looks like if you change the keybindings to something *not* alien, like setting anything to use the mouse right-click, you get stuck in the map screen inside your inventory. I didn't find a solution or workaround, so I guess I just can't use right-click as a keybind (ugh).

Those threads & bug reports I found out there were between 1-2 years old, so it doesn't sound like the developers are doing even minor bug fixes anymore? I apologize, I'm very new to this game. Thanks everyone!

Yeah, the devs stopped supporting the game since the Voidheart update which happened a while ago, they're focusing on the sequel now.
Just wanted to let you know that. Unfortunately I don't know how to help you since I never used mouse in this game, in fact I found default controls perfect. Hope someone else can help.

They kind of stopped supporting updates and bug fixes after the Voidheart release, to instead use the time on the sequel. Hollow Knight: Silksong.|

By the way I don't see why you'd want to play with mouse. I found the preset controls just perfect.

Thank you both for letting me know. It happens, great game even without further support :) I found using the arrow keys & X/Z so hard to get used to! I rebound to WASD, mouse1 and mouse3 mainly.

Well most 2D games, especially side-scrollers and platformers use the arrow keys + Z X.
Merely something that'd be great to get used to, considering how common and useful it is.

Well that explains it! I don't normally play many platformer games, but this really sucked me in.
