how do i pass the shadow gates?

how do i pass the shadows gate thingies? whilst i'm at it, where do i get the super dash, double jump and the map to the fog area?

i just can't find the things i'm looking for.

You'll find what you need in due time, all i'll say is go to Kingdoms Edge
If you can't go somewhere don't worry about it, just keep exploring and eventually you'll see what you need.

super dash: Pink crystal area
Double Jump: Where Mantis lives
Map to the fog area (I guess the place with the jellyfishes): You need either the shadow cloak or an item that let you swim in acid.

Um, i'm gonna correct this.
Super Dash (Crystal Dash) is in crystal peak.
Double Jump (Monarch Wings) are in the Ancient Basin after you defeat the Broken Vessel
And to get the map to Fog Canyon, you can do a Crystal Dash skip if you go to the forgotten crossroads, it's kinda hard to explain in text so i'd suggest watching a speedrun of it so you can see how it's done.

i've been to kingdoms edge, and ancient Basin and made my maps as complete as i was able to. i still don't have the monarch wings or the ability to get through shadow gates and i got stuck at crystal peaks.

i dunno what to do here mate

Like i just said, explore everything you can, you'll progress at your own pace. And if your stuck on crystal peaks, simply get unstuck otherwise you can't get crystal dash and if you don't have crystal dash you can't get monarch wings, and if you don't have monarch wings you can't go to hornet and get the kings brand so you can go to the abyss and get shade cloak which will then let you go through the shadow beams.
