Fragile strength is too much

I'm on my second playthrough and I just felt the sting of an unsatisfying boss. I remember loving the mantis lords but using fragile strength, they were disgustingly easy.

I never did path of pain or godmaster my first time around so I'm looking forward to some actual fun there.

You are in the "experienced player" territory now, where after hours of practice in the game, everything will feel much easier than the first time due to your natural skill improvement and muscle memory.

Perhaps trying the Godmaster content as soon as possible is appropriate 🙂

Eh, fragile strength only cuts the length of a fight by 1/3rd (and only if you use nothing but regular attacks). It's not so common to be able to win a fight with it that you can't win without it.

Of course bosses are going to be much easier on the second playthrough. I don't really know what you were expecting. Strength does make it much easier but not enough for a boss to go from great to disgustingly easy, so it's clear that you are just much better at the game now. If you liked Mantis lords then I would suggest trying out sisters of battle in godhome.

Thinking about it, I pretty much already knew the all the attacks and how to respond. I guess it's the lack of new game+ that makes it a bit weird.

I'm still loving the rest of the game (though the platforming puzzles don't feel like puzzles), but I'll get my pale ore and charms and rush to godmaster ASAP.

Tbh, I barely beat the mantis lords last playthrough and it's been two years. I was expecting to be rusty and have to re-learn the fight. My expectations were of course shattered.
