Steam Game-Profiles

Dear Team Cherry,
when Steam launched its Profile-Bundles (You know, with everything, animated backgrounds, profile-Pic, yadayadayada) I instantly knew I wanted this. So is there any chance you guys make a Profile-Bundle for Hollow Knight? Pwease? :3

I can see there are only a few of them. Seems like they are not really that popular among developers?

It's not so much that they aren't popular, rather they are a fairly new addition so there isn't much content yet.
And, I agree, I would absolutely love a Hollow Knight profile theme. I wish there was imagery of the game outside of the starting location, particularly the Abyss, but they are unlikely to go that far.

Editing doesn't work for some reason (thanks, Steam). I would like to add that TC said multiple times that they are focusing all their efforts towards Silksong. That was one of the reasons we didn't get updates on it either, so I doubt we would see a profile theme pop up anywhere in the near future - perhaps we could get one for the game's anniversary, but not any time soon.

I wouldn't make the connection that fast, maybe steam intervents with how many come up or the players don't purchase them very often (I mean they are costy as hell) or maybe it's just much work - you gotta make an animated background, an animated mini-background, a profile-picture, an avatar and probably something more that I forgot. When you look at how many games don't have Steam-Cards, Smileys and Stuff you can maybe understand, that even such small things take effort, but I don't know, maybe you are right, just sharing my thoughts :) Maybe only games that came out after the Feature are allowed, I mean no DS3, no The Witcher 3... Hm...

Not that new anymore, thats why I am asking :D But yes, much newer than HK itself.

Also don't think they would be doing something that far into the game but tbh I wouldn't see the problem, next to spoiling, that there is such an area you don't do much; and as far as just spoiling that places or abilities exist, seeing that trailers are a thing I don't really see a problem here. (Also Kudos for the choice, that would really make a good choice for a background... Just imagining the whole time you are in the profile broken shells of the vessels are dropping into the bottom or something like this... lit! Or maybe the lighthouse shining the light onto a sea of abyss creatures rising their arms up...

I know, sadly and yet gladly... But I mean, just a few hours - days off making a few animations... please? :D (Contradicting everything I said above about how much it probably is making these good but who am I to judge myself)

I can only see 12 Game Profiles (11 games, since RE Village has two Profiles).
There are currently 58830+ Games on Steam total:

That's less than 0.019%, or 1 Game out of 5348 that has a Game Profile

Maybe this feature is still considered brand new and needs some more time to become more popular among developers/publishers.

It's nice that you bring this to attention. I personally didn't know about this feature - I only knew about singular items (avatar, background etc.).

Seems like the Game-Profile-Train is starting to roll, even games like Wingspan and Hand of Fate 2 (Later of which is absolute adorable btw.) now have some profiles. The hope isn't dead :D

Aye! Those Bundles really rock. I personally would prefer other themes over Godmaster, we talked above about the Abyss i.e. or maybe The Black Egg? How about something with the Corruption? But honestly, I would take any theme except for Crystall Peak and Deepnest :D
