Cornifer won't give me the map!

I found the guy who sells maps, but he won't sell me it. I have enough money for it, but when i click the yes option he says the dialouge that he says when you click no, and he doesn't give me the map! Can someone help me please?

Try pressing the key you have set to the jump button rather than the attack button, which is what I have to do. Hope it works.
