Your main charm build(s)
What is the main combination (or combinations) of charms you use? I use:
Unbreakable Heart + Fragile Strength + Quick Focus + MArk of Pride
I use this build for exploration, bosses, ascended/radiant difficulties (ik 5 notches are wasted for radiant bosses but hey challenge is challenge and I want challenge) and pantheons and everything tbh.

Mark of Pride, Long Nail always. Gotta love that range, boi

Then I either focus on spells strength, soul gathering or mapping + geos gathering depending on the situation.

My old build:
- Nailmaster's Glory, Quick Focus, Shaman Stone, Soul Eater

A great all-round build that covers all the bases: better nail damage, better spell damage, faster soul gain and faster healing. The only downside is that it does of course require all 11 charm slots to use effectively.

My new build:
- Nailmaster's Glory, Shaman Stone, Spell Twister, Soul Eater, Dream Wielder

It pretty much exchanges the healing advantage of the previous build (since I don't really need it anymore, now that I'm better at the game) for even more damage and soul gain. Dream Wielder is super good for being able to gain massive amounts of soul very quickly. Combined with Shaman Stone it makes the Failed Champion fight negligible - you can endlessly chain staggers on him by dream-nailing his armor, and he goes down in three Abyss Shrieks if you land all four ticks of damage on each.

I basically exclusively use Unbreakable Strength + Shaman Stone + Spell Twister + Soul Catcher + Grubsong unless I have a very specific reason to use something else.

Quick Slash + Unbreakable Strength + Long Nail + Quick Focus. When fighting in the Colosseum, instead of Long Nail I might use Nailmaster's Glory and...whatever I can fit into that one charm notch left.

I do not even leave my house without the Wayward Compass.

I explored the majority of the game with wayward compass, soul catcher, sharp shadow, either longnail or mark of pride, and unbreakable strength once I got it. I basically only swapped them out for alternate strategies on specific bosses or areas.

unb strength + longnail + quick slash + quickfocus

unb strength: extremely powerful especially in the pantheons, its hard to leave strength out
longnail: i dont have enough charm notches for Mark of Pride :(
qs: noo you cant just spam ur nail on every bosses! haha quick slash go brrrrrrrrr
quickfocus: because i dont know what the ♥♥♥♥ am i doing with this game

Did most stuff with Compass - mark of pride - quick slash - stalwart stone/baldur shell. Sometimes played with grubsong and thorns of agony in sections where I was taking a lot of damage. And I often used the dreamshield for bosses that float or have a lot of defensive crap, gets more damage in when you find an opening.

My Baseline: grubsong + dream wielder + void heart + gathering swarm
My n00b nail build: baseline + quick focus + unbreakable strength + unbreakable heart (used for first few runs + steel soul)
My white palace build: baseline + deep focus + quick focus (for the white palace and PoP)
My spell build (for speedruns and godhome): baseline + shaman stone + spell twister + heavy blow + nailmasters glory (turns beasts den into a joke, replace swarm + glory with long nail when geo is useless)
grubsong and dream wielder are so attached to my build that they are before void heart (until I start attempting charm bindings at least) because between them I have ludicrous soul gain for 2 notches (recover ~50% of a mask/spell worth of soul when hit for a notch, ~6x soul gain speed from dream nail for a notch (higher soul/sec when spamming than the normal nail enhanced by soul catcher + soul eater + quick slash for 1/9 of the notches), both are equipped as soon as they are obtained and never unequipped except to train for the charm binding in the HoG).
Void heart is necessary to reach radiance or PoH.
Swarm is there because it is not detrimental unlike most 1 notch charms (thorns uses up I-frames, spore shroom and defenders crest make it harder to see, steady body prevents pogo jumping) and I don't like being left with an empty charm notch (plus it helps a lot before geo becomes worthless), Is only unequipped on radiant bosses (swapped for soul eater), when fighting lost kin, on the last 2 pantheons because lost kin (both swapped for spore shroom temporarily) and with my spell build. The nail build is pretty much just boring power upgrades so not much to say there.
For the white palace grubsong + deep focus = OP. quick focus gets you back in the action faster. For spell build boring power boosts apart from heavy blow (controversial, I know) which is to trigger staggers more often from pogos (the only reason I use the normal nail when the dream nail is so OP when you get the timing down), make them more reliable and to protect my positioning from bosses that can be knocked back.
Glory is used the for a similar reason to swarm. ie. 'I don't like being left with an empty charm notch' Almost unnoticeable but still useful (I rarely find the charge on nail arts problematic, The main problem I have with nail arts is the lack of downwards attacks).
Long nail is to make pogos more reliable if geo is worthless (bought everything including unbreakable charms) already.
TL;DR; grub and dw for soul. swarm for the illusion of not wasting a notch and for geo. Nail build is just generic +'s to damage, health and healing speed. White palace build is for rapid and reliable healing. spell build is +'s to spell damage and efficiency, reliable pogoing and staggers.

I'm surprised there's no love for Fragile Greed, Gathering Swarm or Sprintmaster... I'd never go exploring without those three.

Yeah I like those charms too. Gathering Swarm and Fragile Greed is always a good combo, and I prefer Sprintmaster over Dashmaster because Dashmaster's downward dash is really annoying.

Sprintmaster really helps me out against GPZ and is all around useful utility so I just keep it on once I get it. Gathering Swarm and Fragile Greed fall off early midgame in my opinion.
