NKG is hard because he acts faster than all of the enemies up until that point. And he hits for 2. But he's probably the best designed boss for pacing and telegraphed attacks.

Markoth has far more rng and placement issues going for him. Especially in the pantheon with no floor. It's 2 very different encounters.

Although you can sort of cheese Markoth with spells to get through phase 2.

Just don't try to be agressive, let him come to you, and heal when he spins the shields, or use magic, but don't try to attack him with the nail then.

Radiant Markoth is a lot harder than Radiant PV though. A LOT harder. I'd say Radiant Markoth is harder than Radiant Absolute Radiance even.

I would agree with the statement in a previous post that the fight can be completely nrg based, purely on the basis that markoth can either spend alot of the 1st/2nd phase higher up in the area or floating near the ground. Depending on your soul amount, afew well placed projecticle shots help to speed things up abit.
