Can the hollow knight stab himself to death?

I want to hear your experience, did it ever happen to you that he stabbed himself to death?

I think he cant since you need to hit him at least once to trigger the phase change, at least according to the tests i made (the last test i recorded it in this video https://youtu.be/LFL3eeefNtg )

So yeah, i think that proves it is impossible, but i would like to see if you could make him kill himself to know if im wrong or not

That's an interesting question. If you know exactly how much hp he has and how much damage you do per hit, you should be able to test this by counting the number of hits to end the fight, get him close to that point, wait until he starts stabbing himself, then push him over that amount before he deals the final blow to himself and wait and see if the fight ends.
