Weaver's den occurrence?

Alright this happened a little while back and i could just be making up nonsense but while exploring the weaver's den in deepnest, after exiting, i saw a large spider (like the corpses that appear inside the weaver's den) look at me and run off. I haven't thought of it since but after finding nothing about it online i'd just like to know if anyone else has seen this, or if im just crazy.

Well I don't know if you're crazy or not, but I have also seen it. Likely will be elaborated on in one of the upcominng content patches.

It will be in a future content update. Yes what you saw was real. I saw it too.

Not a bug; it's for something in the future. Scared me half to death because ♥♥♥♥ anything related to spiders.

Also, SPOILERS: If you go to the top right of the den, dash all the way to the upper left where there's just a wall, and smack the wall, you'll find that there's a breakable wall there. Very obscure. Just letting you know since it'll probably be very important to go in there once the DLC comes out.

and, spoilers, if you can work your way up into the space behind that breakable well - --- there's a second breakable wall there with an interesting room beyond it.

I saw something similar when entering Crossroads from Dirtmouth after the infection. A bug was at the entrance and then it flew towards the screen and curved towards the right while my character recovered from the fall, one-time occurrence too.

Now that's something i know about. It's a bug that appears everytime to fix the sign to the left of the entrance. If you use desolate dive while going down the crossroads entrance you can kill him before he flies away. It's not required for journal completion but he has a house by Salubra's place that opens up with a cool easter egg.
