About keyboard and mouse button mapping.
Can you please make mouse left click/right/middle be available ? Because the game doesn't let me map them as attack buttons...

Same request here. I also contacted teh devs on GOG and through their contact form on their page. There is no reason not to make this possible and it's probably easy to implement it as well.

For the time being I recommend using GlovePie to remap whatever keys you want to use.

You can use the mouse buttons when using GlovePie, yes.

Just a quick tutorial. Download (free) GlovePie and extract it wherever you like. Starting the executable you will see the (empty) script. Click on GUI then click on "Detect Output to emulate" and press the key you want to remap. After doing it you will be able to click on "Detect Input" so press the key or mouse button you want to use. After doing this click on apply and the script will automatically written by GlovePie. When you are finished rebinding all the keys you can save your script and chose run. Minimize GlovePie and start the game.

Here is an example my Holow Knight Script (based on standard keys)

// Movement
Key.Y = Mouse.MiddleButton
Key.X = Mouse.LeftButton
Key.C = Keyboard.RightShift
Key.A = Mouse.RightButton

//Additional
Key.S = Keyboard.RightControl
Key.D = Keyboard.NUMPAD0
Key.F = Mouse.XButton2
Key.Tab = Keyboard.Enter

(XButton2 is the third mouse button on my mouse)

I found a new version of GlovePie located here:

Actually i have one question-do I need to keep GlovePIE always activated for the keybinds to work ?

It has to run in the background, yes. But it is just a simple script running and should not need much performance.

Still hoping that the devs will add the possibility of mouse rebinding in the future. So far I counted four threads alone requesting this.
