Did I make a mistake by obtaining The Void heart?

In my exploration I accidently just found the Void Heart which replaced the White charm. Did I screw with the ending of the game now?

You have locked youself out of the basic ending of the game, assuming you have not already done it. Once you get the Void Heart you can only get the later endings. It's only really a big deal if you don't plan to play the game again, which you will need to do for all achievements if that's your goal (note that there are other achievements that will require a replay. You didn't force a replay only for the one).

You missed an ending but unlocked two more endings including a true final boss fight.

Thanks once again Darc for dropping some knowledge. I wasn't planning on replaying this massive game, just 100% it. Sucks that I locked an ending but hey I can always watch it on Youtube.

The ending you're locked out of is fairly similar to one you can still access, tbh.
