Second half to white fragment?
Hey guys! I know I could probably just google this, but I kinda don't want the answer straight up given/spoiled to me, so I figured I'd ask you guys simply if I'm on the right track.

I thought for sure that I'd get the second half to the white fragment after defeating Nosk but now that that isn't the case, could someone simply confirm/deny... is it in Deepnest? Or do I need to go somewhere else?

Also is it obtained after defeating a boss? Or is it just hidden somewhere?

That's all I need to know for now. Again, please no specific location, just a vague pointer.

Sorry for being picky about that haha, thanks in advance guys! :)

No no, I'm talking about the incomplete charm you get from the white lady after defeating the traitor lord. It's called the white fragment right? And my question is whether or not the second half is in deepnest :)

you need the awoken dream nail, wich means at least 1800 essence and then talk to the seer at the resting grounds.
not saying more, enjoy going through suffering.
because the second fragment is behind suffering.

Yes, but luckily the most painful suffering is only for the sake of pain itself.

It's not in deepnest.
And if you don't want spoilers, I might ask, have you "finished" the game at least once?

Omiword! So that's how you get to the fabled path of pain then? I've been eager to try it (and yes, I assume I'm gonna suffer a lot xD). **excitement and fear intensify**

Got the awoken dream nail. As soon as I free the third dreamer to see what my completion percent is at, I'll begin the journey of suffering!!!!

Yeah I've finished it before :) But I only got 78% completion so I'm playing it again to go for at LEAST 100.

The reason I asked for no spoilers is because I've heard the terms Path of Pain and Radience before but I have no idea what they are, just how hard they are, and how they contribute to the lore, and I want to find that out for myself :steamhappy:

I was just asking because you can miss the first ending, but if you already finished the game without the second half fragment, then you didn't.

actually, it's not really th epath of pain.
PoP is to be entered near the same place you find the second white fragment, but only brings some lore info and is purely optionnal.
but even without going to path of pain you will suffer. even going to it is suffering.

also to make both the way to the second fragment and path of pain easier you need a certain charm that will be very useful, in case you don't have it search for bees and breakable walls.

Oh geez, I started it today and I see what you mean. So much suffering.

But at the same time I love it. Reaching each checkpoint makes you feel so accomplished (once you remember to actually breathe xD)

Thank you, and everyone on this thread, for answering my question and helping me get on the right track! Can't wait to find out what the this ending is like!! :steamhappy::winter2019coolyul:

Congrats on finishing it!! :O

I got the second of the fragment! I also got void heart and I found how to get to the Radiance fight. Have NOT beaten it yet though haha. I didn't find the path of pain though, and the white palace still has locked areas. Is it still possible to get to them even if I already have void heart?

you can get back to white palace using the same corpse. path of pain is behind an invisible breakable wall (dosen't appear as breakable, once you destroy it still appears as a normal wall but you can walk through it.)
