Cant stream on discord

My gf wanted to stream to me her playthrough through discord, but this specific game cant be streamed? Even when I try to stream hollowknight through discord the screen just gets a little more obscure and nothing happens. And streaming the entire screen cuts off the audio.
If someone knows a solution to stream this game on discord please lend me a hollow hand

I don't know what the issue would be, but I know the game should be able to stream through Discord. I've done it myself with a friend and we didn't have to do anything weird to get it to work. (Unless I'm misremembering and I watched through Steam, but I'm pretty sure it was through Discord.)

Open up the game>Go to Discord PC app>Make sure in 'settings' - 'game activity' you have Hollow KNight shown at the top of the screen. If not, then add it.>Join a VC that allows 'streaming'>In the bottom left corner press

Thereafter it should work fine.
