"It would be stupid imo", nah, on the contrary I wish they could increase their price, the game's THAT good
I personally think that making people more aware of the game and making it more popular is better for the creators of the game in the long term than just seeing the money aspect in it.
But this is just my opinion.
I bought expensive AAA games before that I stopped playing and regretted spending money on after ~10 hours; I'd rather that money goes to devs that make stuff I actually enjoy for >100 hours.
Team Cherry talked in the past about why they chose the $15 price tag, citing that they thought it was a good price for the product, and that they felt that was particularly a lot of money when you considered how it converts into other currencies.
Given that they want Silksong to match the scope and quality of HK, it makes sense in my mind that they would give it the same treatment.
I just checked, and I paid AR$108 on 27/06/2019 for this game. Back then, those were the shameful amount of US$ 2,45. I allways felt I've robbed TC, I bought the OST just to add some more money, but still I owe them a lot. In my 3º world country Steams sells the games really cheap, way too cheap.
And I bought a copy for my niece, on her Nintendo Switch account. I thought that way I could redeem myself somehow because Nintendo Switch store maintains similar prices in here so that would be my chance... but no, prices are similar, except for HN. I bought it early this may and paid around AR$180 (another US$2,55 that time). It was stupidly cheap, no other game was that cheap. For example, Ori was around AR$1300 (almost US$20) in that same store. But for some reason this game was almost for free.
So I'm waiting for Silksong, I'll buy a copy for me and another one for my niece. If I buy them on release maybe I'll pay their true price.

Yup, contrary I wish they could read this and increase it
Might upset people who always buy cheap games, knowing most people buy indie games because they're cheap, but if they've experienced HK, they know they're in for an another treat
